There were plenty of crew and every one of them I came in contact with was super friendly and assertively attentive. They were both very friendly and the captain took plenty of time to explain how everything worked as well as all the safety stuff before we left the dock, then pointed out dauphins and many other points of interest throughout the cruise.
(So I did take them up on that second plate offer) I think the boat is owned by the captain and his wife, who is the bar tender. There was plenty of food and no shortage of really nice shrimp on every plate and it was very good. The food was hibachi with shrimp, steak, and vegetables. Prior to eating an announcement was made that once everyone had been served, we could have a second plate if we would like. Shortly after that and once the boat had pushed away and cleared the dock the crew were buzzing around asking everyone if they needed anything, bringing out drinks and soon food.
The first thing I noticed was how well the boat was restored even the (men’s) bathroom was very well decorated and clean. A few days ago we attended a birthday party for a friend that was held on the Betsy Ann Riverboat - Biloxi, MS.
